University of Oxford Professor Andrew Baum is set to launch a new report on the proptech sector.
The 50-page report, ‘PropTech 3.0: The Future of Real Estate’, explores why and how expert investors plough billions of pounds into innovations that are changing the way real estate is traded, used and operated.
He also predicts that with 93% of all tech startups failing to last more than three years, losing millions in investment, those who prosper will eventually have a radical impact on what has been a slow-moving, conservative industry.
Baum is an acclaimed academic with University of Oxford, with a research focus on cross-border real estate investment, innovation, emerging markets and property funds.
Alongside Baum’s analysis the report will also contain insight from VCs, tech innovators and proptech entrepreneurs.
The report will be published on May 10.
