Landmark Valuation Services (formerly Quest) has announced a new technology development that integrates Rightmove’s Surveyor Comparable Tool (SCT) with Landmark’s Q-Mobile software.
The integration between the Rightmove SCT and Landmark’s intelligent property data capture tool aims to create efficiencies in the mortgage valuation process.
Now, surveyors can get direct access to the Rightmove Surveyor Comparable Tool via a simple link within Q-Mobile. It takes the surveyor directly to the property record of the home they are assessing, providing the subject property’s transaction history and making it easy for them to access the price comparables required for robust valuation reporting.
Details of comparable properties are automatically loaded into a surveyor’s site notes and the valuation report in Q-Mobile, removing the need for double keying data and eliminating the risk of manual typing errors.
The completed Rightmove SCT PDF report is automatically attached to the digital record when the completed valuation report is returned back to the lender for processing, eradicating the risk of attaching the wrong report to the wrong case.
Mike Holden of Landmark Valuation Services said: “The integration between Rightmove and our Q-Mobile solution provides surveyors with time savings by removing several manual tasks from the valuation process.
“Previously, surveyors would have to access the vital comparable information manually – now it’s just there when the instruction is received so they can review the information they need, access the comparables and automatically attach the report without any fuss. It’s something our surveyor clients have been asking for and so we are pleased to now be able to offer this integration.”
The Landmark Valuation Hub handles the majority of property valuation instructions in the UK, between lenders and valuation surveyors.
The technology intelligently routes instructions to surveyors for handling. Surveyors then use Landmark’s Q-Mobile software to complete the instruction, using lender-specific digital forms, and the completed report is signed-off and automatically returned back to the lender for processing via the Valuation Hub.
