HeadBox raises £1.4m in Series A funding

Creative space marketplace HeadBox which allows users to search, book and pay for creative, offsite spaces has raised £1.4m in a Series A funding round.

Backers in the round included Wild Blue Cohort, Brian Williamson, Jeremy Thompson, Matt Isaacs, and Johan Svanstrom. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and accelerate growth nationwide.

The platform allows people to search, book and pay online for over 3,000 venues listed across the UK, suitable for all kinds of events, such as workshops, brainstorms, meetings, product launches, research and co-creation, training, media, production and photography shoots, private dining and corporate parties.

On the site, people can filter a search based on a number of criteria. All the details for the space appear on the venue listing, including photos, location, price and more, for guests to make informed decisions.
