Landmark Valuation Services, a provider of property survey, valuation and risk management software for lenders and surveyors, has launched a new tablet leasing service to provide residential property surveyors with access to the latest mobile technologies for onsite property valuation reporting.
Tablet leasing plans are available for two different mobile devices: the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and the rugged Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1, depending on the user’s individual requirements.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 provides the functionality of a laptop but with the convenience of a tablet device, whereas the Panasonic Toughpad is ergonomically designed for active mobile workers and built to withstand the hard-knocks that may occur when used in outdoor settings.
All tablets are delivered loaded with Landmark’s award-winning Mobile Survey software, to enable surveyors to complete mortgage valuation reports in an efficient and compliant manner in the field.
The leasing plan is designed to make tablet PCs an affordable option for surveyors, with one simple monthly payment and ensures they have access to the latest hardware but without a large upfront purchase cost.
The devices are then maintained and updated as part of Landmark Valuation Services’ leasing plan which includes an insurance policy to cover for any accidents in the field.
Mike Holden of Landmark Valuation Services: “The new Landmark Valuation Services’ tablet leasing plan is an ideal option for any surveying firm – whether small independent operators, through to national organisations – who wish to access the very latest mobile technologies to streamline the property survey and valuation function. By leasing the hardware it means there is no hefty upfront purchase cost but instead a manageable monthly fee.
“The plan also includes insurance for the devices as well as a one day replacement service if an accident does happen. It’s an attractive proposition for any surveying firm that wants to create efficiencies with new technologies, yet doesn’t want to impact cash flow or take on the overhead of mobile device management”
When installed on a tablet device, Landmark Mobile Survey valuation reporting software enables surveyors to digitally capture and complete site notes and mortgage valuation reports with ease.
It removes the need for paper-based reporting, creating significant efficiencies, the ability to work faster and smarter, with the added advantage of being able to access supporting documents on the go, such as valuation comparables, digital maps and photos.
Landmark’s Mobile Survey, when used in conjunction with Panasonic’s Toughbook or Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 mobile devices, improves workflow, standardises site notes and creates efficiencies for surveyors whilst onsite.
