LendInvest has taken number one spot in the Startups 100 list for 2016.
The list counts down “the UK’s rising start-up stars set for explosive growth” and previous winners have included Purple Bricks, Notonthehighstreet, Zoopla and Hello Fresh.
LendInvest, which turned over £15m in 2015, was described by judges as a “pioneering London lender” and “worthy number one”.
Christian Faes (pictured), chief executive and co-founder of LendInvest, said: “You only have to look at previous winners, and the other members of this year’s top 100 list, to see we are in impressive company.
“Topping this list is a huge testament to the hard work and passion from everyone at LendInvest.”
LendInvest plans to increase its headcount from 90 to 150 by the end of 2016.
